chainhelm is a small editorial team of a 10+ year derivatives trader, a financial-media editor, and an on-chain analyst — working independently of any exchange, protocol, or commercial investor.
What we do
chainhelm publishes independent editorial research on offshore exchanges, Perp DEX, and on-chain markets. We aim to produce work that readers can check: key claims are backed by linked sources, and we disclose our methodology and the data behind our analysis where applicable.
Editorial integrity
chainhelm's editorial decisions are independent from any commercial relationships. We earn referral commissions when readers sign up to exchanges and protocols through links on this site, but those commissions do not influence our analysis. What we choose to cover and how we assess it is not determined by whether an exchange has a referral program, and we disclose the commercial relationship on pages where it applies.

Our research is grounded in primary sources: official exchange documentation, public APIs (such as DefiLlama and CoinGecko), and direct verification — creating accounts, capturing screenshots, and recording fees as of a stated date. Methodology, data sources and "as of" dates are disclosed on each page where applicable.
